1981-1984 – worked as a teacher for the Dobruš Regional Department of Education.
1984-1992 – worked for the Soviet Executive Committee in Homiel Region as Inspector for the Housing and Communal Services Department.
1992-1995 – worked as translator for the Homiel Specialised Centre for Radiation Medicine, now called the Republican Research Centre for Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology.
1995-1997 – worked for the Belarusian Soros Foundation as an Office Manager for the Homiel Department.
1997-2004 – worked for “Civil Initiatives”, a Homiel regional public association as a Programme Coordinator.
Since 1997 she has been a member of the United Civic Party of Belarus.
1999-2004 – was Chairman of the Homiel regional women”s organisation “Initiative”.
2004-2010 – acted as Executive Director of the Foundation for Local Developmental Assistance.
