Career

Belarusian statesman and military leader. Major-General.
From September 1998 onwards he served in the Border Troops and as Head of Military Unit 1250 and Deputy Chief of the Separate Border Troops (OSAM). From 2004 onwards was Chief of the Separate Border Troops (OSAM).

From April 10 to September 27, 2007 – Chairman of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
From September 27th 2007 – Chairman of the State Border Committee of Belarus. From 2008 onwards has acted as Chairman of the Republican Public Association “Belarusian Federation of Sailing.” On July 31st 2012 was removed from office by the President.

From October 1st 2012 – was appointed as First Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus and on October 22nd 2014 he became the Chairman of the Hockey Federation of the Republic of Belarus.
