Career
Belarusian political scientist, methodologist and public figure. In his student years he was a member of the Belarusian patriotic sports organisation “White Legion” and worked in providing legal aid as a lawyer for the “Viasna Human Rights Centre”. He participated in the activities of the youth movement “Zubr” from 2000 to 2003.
Since 2005 he has been a member of the second composition of the “Agency for Humanitarian Technologies”, working as an expert for and Head of the “AGT” analytical group. Before 2009, he worked as a Professor of the Department of Political Science at the European Humanities University (Vilnius).
In March 2010 he founded and became Head of the Centre for European Transformation, a think-tank which is a member of the International Consortium “EuroBelarus”. Was one of the founders of the “Political Sphere” journal specialised in Political Science, served as Deputy Editor and is currently a member of the Editorial Board.
Since the announcement of the “Eastern Partnership” EU initiative he has been actively involved in the activities of the Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) at national and international levels. From 2014-2015 he was Co-chair of the Steering Committee of the Civil Society Forum of the Eastern Partnership (EaP CSF) and from 2013 to 2015 he was the National Coordinator of the EaP CSF for the Republic of Belarus.
